Reading blogs and listening to podcasts gets you in touch with the most current topics, trends, and news in our industry.
Using a feed reader or aggegator is a great way to keep tabs on the blogs you read and the podcasts you listen to. A feed reader is software or a web-based application that alerts you when new content is available on a blog or other site. So if you read 20 blogs, instead of going to those 20 sites to see what’s new, you can go to one site instead. Two widely used web-based feed readers are Google Reader and Bloglines. If you’d like help setting up a feed reader, please make an appointment with Deb, your librarian.
